37th Day of Coach Tourism – Speaker Line-Up

The 37th Day of Coach Tourism will take place on Monday, 7th January 2019 in the beautiful Steintor-Varieté, Halle/Saale (Germany’s oldest variety theatre – see photo) with an informal B2B networking get-together for RDA members and friends on the evening of Sunday, 6th January 2019 in the Technische Halloren- und Salinemuseum Halle. The theme is “Quality & Up-Trading” – so please make sure to mark your diary and register to attend what promises to be a stimulating B2B conference and highly informative coach and group tourism event. Halle is only 20 km away from Leipzig/Halle Airport.

Martin Katz, Group Destination Director, FTI Touristik, will deliver an impulse presentation on “Visualising Quality – Content creates competitive advantage and preferences”.

Marco Schuy, Member of RDA Board and Managing Partner at Schuy Exclusiv Reisen, will speak on “Exclusivity pays off because premium clients pay more”.

Markus Luthe, Managing Director of the IHA Hotelverband Deutschland e. V., will speak on “It’s not a one-way street – co-operation between hotels and coach travel operators in times of the platform economy”.

Dr. Dietlind von Laßberg, Deputy Chair of the Studienkreis für Tourismus und Entwicklung e.V. will speak on “Intercultural Tour-Guiding – high value group travel”.

Jay Munro-Michell
, Senior Manager Buyers & Travel Technology, ETOA – European Tourism Association, will speak about “International Benchmarks and Best Practices” (in English language).

Johannes Hübner, RBI Safety Management Expert and Organiser of Concours d’Elegance Classic-Gala.
