Tasks and goals

The primary goal of the political engagement of the RDA is the promotion of modern and environmentally friendly coach and group tourism. By engaging in active lobbying and establishing close contact with political and economic decisionmakers, the RDA is representing the interests of the international coach and group tourism industry both at national and international levels.

The philosophy of the federation  - services by members for members - is reflected in a comprehensive range of services and product portfolios which cover all relevant group tourism issues and are specially geared to small- and medium-sized tourism enterprises.

RDA International Coach Tourism Federation

The RDA International Coach Tourism Federation e.V. (founded in 1951 originally as the "Reise-Ring Deutscher Autobusunternehmungen e.V.) represents the complete spectrum of the coach tourism business activity. The RDA is the leading federation in Europe for coach and group tourism with about 3,000 member companies and several associated federations in more than 40 countries and over 70 sectors.
These include coach companies, tour operators, tourism federations, destination marketing organisations, visitor attractions, culture and event suppliers, carriers, hotels and restaurants. All sectors offering services related to the touristic group travel are united within the RDA.
