RDA members will wish to join with Confederation of Passenger Transport (CPT) UK colleagues in wishing Stephen Smith, CPT’s Operations Director, a long and happy retirement. Stephen Smith left CPT at the end of July 2017.

Acknowledging Stephen Smith, CPT Chairman Simon Posner said: “I should like to pay tribute to Stephen Smith who retires after a 45 year career in the industry, the last decade having been spent with CPT. Stephen has made a huge contribution to the work of CPT, has spearheaded several initiatives including the professional industry accreditations, and has played an instrumental role in the training of our sector through his chairmanship of CPT’s Skills & Training Committee.

Stephen Smith will remain as chair of the European Alliance for Coach Tourism (EACT) and will continue to promote the value of coach tourism across Europe.”

Following Stephen Smith’s retirement, CPT is delighted to announce that Keith McNally will succeed Stephen as Operations Director.
