Arrival and Departure by Car

Regional access via Cologne Autobahnring, local access from the  Rheinbrücken (Rhine Bridges), Follow signs for "Koelnmesse" and on the days of the exhibition itself for "RDA Workshop".

Route suggestion from outside Cologne: Stadtautobahn (city autobahn / motorway) from Kreuz Köln-Ost to Koelnmesse junction. A separate access road leads directly from there to the car-parking deck at Hall 10 (former Hall 14) and to the access roads for delivery vehicles.

The car-parking deck is connected to the Exhibition Foyer area via lifts and escalators.

 

Cologne Environment Protection Zone

Cologne city centre has been designated an Environment Protection Zone since 1st January 2008. Access to KölnMesse / Cologne Fair is ensured for all vehicles – even without a window sticker. Please take your bearings from the Environment Protection Zone map.

From outside Cologne: the exhibition ground is close to Köln-Deutz Bahnhof, Systemstop of the ICE lines Berlin - Bonn, Dortmund – Frankfurt am Main/Nürnberg and Cologne - Brussels/Paris.

Regional and local S-Bahn trains also stop here. Cologne Main Station (Hauptbahnhof) is located only 1,200 metres away. Connecting trains to Köln-Deutz Bahnhof run on a very frequent basis. You can also walk over the Rhine directly to Cologne Fair via a pathway running along the side of the Hohenzollern Bridge. 

Within Cologne: trams number 3 and 4 from and to the city centre stop directly in front of Hall 10 (station: "Haupteingang Osthallen"). Both lines run on a 10-minute tact.

Köln Bonn Airport

Cologne/Bonn Airport is located some 10 km from Cologne Fair. Regular flights are available to most domestic and European airports – nonstop for the most part. Low-Cost-Carriers also fly to Cologne/Bonn on a regular basis.

The S-Bahn S13 connects the Cologne/Bonn Airport with Köln-Deutz Bahnhof / station in only 16 minutes, plus 7 minutes walk from there to Hall 10. Taxis require 15 minutes outside of rush hour to and from Hall 10 (formerly Hall 14).

Two further airports may be easily and speedily reached without having to change trains: Frankfurt International Airport in 58 minutes per ICE, Düsseldorf in 34 minutes per Regional Express. Direct train connections to Köln-Deutz station are on an hourly basis.

Lufthansa / Star Alliance have a check-in terminal in Cologne Hauptbahnhof / Main along with baggage processing for flights to and from Frankfurt am Main.
