The RDA Annual General Meeting will be held from 26th to 28th April 2012 in Graz, the federal state capital of the Steiermark. The second biggest city of the Austrian Republic is a lively university town and their old city town and the Eggenberg Palace belong to the UNESCO World Heritage.

The Schlossberg is where the Clock Tower – the symbol of Graz – is located, along with the Graz City Crown which is made up of the gothic cathedral (St. Ägidius), the mausoleum, St. Catherine’s church, the old Jesuit University and Graz Castle. These are just some of the magnificent sights which Graz has to offer participants at the 61st RDA Annual General Meeting & Conference. The renowned Eggenberg Palace, located outside the old city area attracts over a million visitors per annum and is considered the most important baroque palatial complex in the Steiermark.
Touristic importance of Graz
The European Capital of Culture 2003 has over 6,000 guest beds. Besides business and conference tourism, Graz attracts above all city and culture tourists.
