Assistance programme for coach tourism emergency situations

RDA Bus Intervent (RBI) covers 24-hour accident monitoring of the complete coach tourism sector. It gathers and evaluates qualified information on accidents involving holiday and tour coaches and bundles initial assistance and aid measures. RBI Bus Intervent also encompasses the fielding of Intervention Teams and special federation crisis services to support coach companies in times of crisis.

RBI services:

• RDA/AvD (German Automobile Club) emergency service for coach accidents.
• RBI intervention teams.
• Support for affected RDA members in mainland Europe
• Crisis seminars and guidelines: What is to be done before, during and after a crisis.
• Insurance for the business costs of crises. This is exclusive for RDA member.

The RDA registers the names of RDA member company crisis representatives so as to enable speedy and direct communications in the event of an emergency situation. The RDA’s insurance co-operation with HanseMerkur exclusively enables RDA members to provide for emergency situation coverage. (in German only)
