The Coach Tourism Council (UK) is an RDA partner association since 2010. The 2012 Coach Tourism Council Coach Holiday Conference will be held at the Best Western Premier Queen Hotel in Chester from 4th to 5th March 2012. The conference theme is “Riding the Storm together - How effective partnerships can help coach tourism succeed in a hostile environment”. RDA CEO Dieter Gauf and RDA Market Representative for Great Britain, Ireland & the Commonwealth, Dr. Patrick Patridge, will also attend.

Following the successful introduction of a shorter, more focused conference event which attracted a record number of more than 150 delegates to County Durham last year, the 2012 CTC Conference will be in a short format once again. It will include keynote speeches from leading figures in the travel and leisure sectors, a topical industry panel discussion and an ever popular CTC Workshop.

A gala evening dinner hosted by Best Western and The Queen Hotel will launch the event on Sunday 4th March 2012 and as usual there will be optional familiarisation visits to a choice of Cheshire attractions. The 4-star Queen Hotel will serve as conference hotel. It is ideally located in the centre of the historic city, close to Chester railway station only a short walk away from the ancient Roman Walls, medieval sites and attractive shops.
